Inspired by cathedral architecture, this ring has windows that create the setting for the garnet. I call this a gallery, combined with garnet it creates a beautifully vibrant glow underneath like rose windows in a cathedral with large skulls on the sides. The setting is of 8 claw prongs and makes a delicate looking, but robust setting.
The garnet is 14mm round and set upside down for a unique setting.
The band is sanded smooth to a 400 grit finish, oxidized and then some surface is removed for an antique look.
