Garnet Unhewn Ring

I set out to create a series of rings that looked as if they were roughed out of stone, fit for royalty in an early age of mankind.

Set with a rose cut garnet, this stone is absolutely incredible in person. Made individually to fit each stone so no two rings are the same.

The sterling silver band is hand carved and textured with a primitive and raw multidirectional pattern, each mark was imbued with intent and energy for protection of its wearer. I then oxidized and hand sanded to 400 grit to show the pattern and shine the metal.
