Aqueous Ring with Citrine and Sapphire in Sterling Silver

This ring was inspired by the concept of lost treasure. I was fascinated by the idea of jewelry formed in the ocean. This the stones seemingly placed at random, the way nature works. It is set with a gorgeous mediera citrine that has been checkerboard cut and a blue sapphire cabochon. Cast in sterling silver and oxidized to bring out the contrast in the metal. 

The band is sanded smooth to a 400 grit finish, oxidized and then some surface is removed for an antique look.
