Immortal Care - Keeping Your Dark Treasures Eternal

Your jewelry's immortality guide 🗡️
Your Julian The 2nd pieces are built to last lifetimes, but even the most powerful talismans need proper care.
After over a decade of creating gothic jewelry, here's what I've learned about keeping pieces looking immortal:
The Bronze Ritual:
- Light tarnish = character (embrace it)
- Heavy tarnish = gentle polish with soft cloth
- Store in dry places (moisture accelerates patina)
- Pro move: Rotate pieces to develop even aging
Sterling Silver Mastery:
- Tarnish happens - it's natural and reversible
- Polishing cloth > chemical cleaners (always)
- Wear it regularly - your skin's oils actually protect silver
- Storage tip: Anti-tarnish strips in jewelry boxes work wonders
Gemstone Protection:
- Each stone has different hardness levels
- Garnets and onyx = tough as nails
- Opals = more delicate, avoid extreme temperature changes
- Peridot = middle ground, just avoid harsh chemicals
The Reality Check: In 5 years, I've seen maybe 1 in 50 pieces need repairs. Most issues? Sizing adjustments or stone re-setting after years of heavy wear. That's not defects - that's life being lived.
Emergency Care:
- Loose stone? Stop wearing immediately, bring to a jeweler
- Bent ring? Don't try to fix it yourself (seriously, don't)
- Lost piece? Check your drains first (you'd be surprised)
Julian's Personal Method: I wear-test every design before molding. If it can't handle my daily routine (gym, work, life), it doesn't make it to production.
