This was a brooch I made in school when I was learning to make jewelry. This was one of my thesis pieces, a brooch that could be worn by rebels in a dystopian future. The brooch itself is made from a fluorescent acrylic that I hand cut and polished. The elements and details are all sterling silver with brass nuts and bolts holding it together. The pin back is a heavy gauge nickel wire.
